BH3 OnOnLine Notice Board cum Wisitors Guestbook

Thank you for visiting with Bangkok Hash House Harriers website.
Feel free to submit your message
HERE and we'll arbitrarily decide if it gets posted to this guestbook!
Gentlemen
of BH3, It is with great sadness that we have learned of the
untimely death of our good friend Hugo Steiner, he died
earlier today from heart failure.
Hugo was a long time Bangkok hasher and although he hadn't
run regularly with us over the past couple of years, he
still kept in touch with his hash friends, it was great
that he was able to join us for last Saturdays run.
Bathing rites will be held at Wat Sri Eiam this Saturday
at 5pm (The Wat is near the Novotel Bang Na)
This Saturdays Chom View bus run will be cancelled and the
hares will instead lay a run from the Port.
The run start time will be brought forward to 1.30pm,
which will allow for those hash friends that wish to
attend the bathing rites at 5pm.

Please let me introduce myself, I am the current GM of Cambridge H3 in the UK.
We were spawned from Bankok by Howard "Old Bollo" Taylor in 1988 and have been
running every Sunday ever since. Next year on the
weekend of the 29,30 June and 1st July we are celebrating 1500 runs and we would
like to invite any members of our Mother Hash, who can make it, to join us. The
website and registration is at www.ch3-1500.co.uk
We are planning a special edition of our HHHerald full of stuff from the past,
old runs write ups, photos, drawings etc. and I thought it would be good to get
a message from the GM of our Mother to her offspring. Would he be able to send a
few words of support ? Also, if anyone there still remembers Old Bollow could
they send any publishable memories of him? Many thanks in advance.
On-on!

I'm travelling in India at the moment and will shortly be arriving in Bangkok.
With fear of getting groped and more stares than usual in India I've not ran for
a month and am keen to go for a run in Bangkok when I arrive and the beer sounds
good...What sort of folk go on these runs?! Is it possible just to come along
and join in randomly?
Cheers,
Mo -

Friends,
I am presently living in Bangkok and consider moving here on a long/term basis. I would like to go running in Lumphini Park every second day or so and have two questions: 1. where can I find lockers within the boundaries of Lumphini to lock up my stuff during the time I am running? 2. where can I take a shower at Lumphini?
Thank you very much,

Will someone say hello to Archie Loper for me? I was a close neighbor of he and his parents in Connecticut, Verne and Ethel, for many years. My father Guido still lives there and see him everytime he's back in the States. Since I seldom get back to Connecticut since I'm now in South Carolina, I rarely see "wildman" Archie. I'll never forget seeing a movie of Archie "waterskiing" in Thailand ... Lou Barton louisbarton@bellsouth.net Chapin, SC USA - Saturday, August 13, 2005 at 12:07:21 (EDT)

APARTMENT FOR RENT Hi, we will be leaving Thailand in two weeks, but still have two months to go contract-wise in our beautiful apartment. Contract expires in mid-February, so that would give someone a very good deal in the best months of the year (normally you have to sign at least a 6-12 month contracts). Spacious furnished apartment Melrose Place lookalike, flowers, 2 bedrooms, 2 bathrooms, 120 sqm, aircons, separate living room and dining room, Skytrain Ari Station, small swimming pool, fitness room, 24-h guards/parking, marble floors, washing machine, good for sharing; 17,000 Bt (393 USD)/month, contract until mid-Febr or longer; marieclaire_nl@hotmail.com or 06-620 0410. We negotiated a really good deal, 7 minutes with the skytrain from Siam. Per direct.

Hi, We are travelling via Bangkok from London to Auckland. Our children run with the horrors in London, and if there is an event whilst we are around that would be good. If there are other runs which would be suitable for children that would also be great. We are looking for accommodation for 3 nights, from 10 December, and are happy to pay for something with good central facilities. We have had conflicting advice, as whether to pre book or not. I have looked at serviced apartments. Our children will be aged 3, 5 and 8. Any advice would be welcome. Please feel free to forward this to anyone who might assist. To "Guess/You know": this is a BH3 forum for hashers only, not for poofters. If having spent months in Suzie Wong drooling at (but not inhaling) little LBFMs from Buri Ram hasn't cured you then nothing will. Behold, for I divined from the shape, colour and viscosity of my turds who the next GM will be! I can only reveal that it is not a muslim. You don't believe me? Please see my other predictions and consider for yourself: 1. You will take a piss tomorrow. 2. The sun will rise. 3. Stock prices will also go down. 4. Rod Turner will shortcut. 5. Politicians will lie. 6. Manchester United will be Premier League Champions. 7. You will die. 8. You will think this is ridiculous. I therefore pose 3 questions... Question 1 to any AngularThais out there: Where can I buy one of those T-shirts with Suffle's unhandsome face on it. I am tired of getting chased by filthy dogs on my runs in the country and want to buy a deterrent or something that will scare even those dogs away. Question 2: This notice board is so lame - Is there anybody out there? Hello?? Let's liven things up by turning this website into a chat forum. Members can express themselves, consult an online shrink, ask for shortcutting advice, gossip, and spread tasty rumours. In short, throw mud at each other or wish someone happy birthday, whatever. Question 3: Wouldn't it be a fun idea if we adopted the "Big Brother" TV-show format on BH3? Yours shitstirringly,

Hash Cash Note 'Sourgrapes' has got it all wrong. Funds, from any source, generated by an outstation run belong to that run/function. It doesn't matter how they spend it (and they should spend it) as long as it benefits the whole group. HASH CASH or anyone else in the mismanagement have no reason to expect cash flow from an outstation run. That is the way we have always done it and tradition counts for a lot!

Why were the visitors' fees from that run in Chantaburi squandered on bar girls, banana boats and other silly nonsense?? Why have they not been handed over in full to Hash Cash as ought to have happened?!! What is BH3 coming to?? This is outrageous. BH3 funds are being embezzled and I demand action to be taken. I seem to have lost my first message. Here it is again , typed in 4 pt ..... Miaou (HAGS' friend) phoned Aow (my wife) with news of Pitak from Daeng. Basically Pitak is on dialysis at B 1,600 for each treatment. He goes twice a week. This is 10,600 Baht a month for this treatment alone. I suggest we start a HASH PISS SURCHARGE of 60 B a run to assist in paying for part of his treatment - since we can't touch the sacred 200,000 B 'emergency' fund. This is equavilent to one large Heinekin a week (or to half a bar-girl's drink). I gather Pitak is not well off financially and I feel this is the least we can do. Comments please
