WHEN IN BANGKOK GO FOR A RUN
The
Bangkok Hash House Harriers, led by whoever the poor sod (GM)
is this year, run every Saturday at 5 PM in Summer, and 4:30
PM in Winter, or according to whatever GMT (Grand Master's
Time) is published with the Misdirections the week before
the run.
The run is usually in the bush, avoiding road running. A typical
trail takes between one hour and one and a half hours to complete. It
is not competitive. Some just walk and talk. It is always
hot, and a cold beer afterwards goes down better here than
anywhere else in the world.
Wherever the run is, around Bangkok or upcountry, you will
see more of Amazing Thailand and its people than you planned.
Most runsites in Bangkok can be reached by taxi, or contact
a reliable member (oxymoron?) and ask for a lift. {see
listed CONTACTS}
The visitor's normal run fee is 300 baht. Want to get a taste
of what it is like to run with the finest men in hashing shirts?
Information about each run location and current BH3 contact
phone numbers is published in The
Bangkok Post Newspaper in the Sports Section Every Saturday.

Is this the sort of greeting you expect? (Above) ---- See
