Run No 1228 – Joost
Saturday 13th January 2001
Hare: Joost
THE
EX-GMs GRIEVANCES
A pack of 25 including many returners e.g. Ron Thomson,
David Simister, Vinai, Mini and Noriega showed up
at Wat Cherng Lane situated on the famous Chao Phya
River bank. The run on the very humid and
warm afternoon was excellent and took 1-1.15 hours
to complete. However, Joost, the Hare took
a big shit somewhere along the trails and some clumsy
FRBs stepped on it and carrying the nice smell throughout
the run and even back home. Vichai, the Senator
completed his 600th run after 18 years and he contributed
a few thousands Baht for the ON-ON-ON to buy votes
for himself as generally practised by most politicians.
Since several ex-GMs attended the run, it's interesting
to learn how they boasted and tried to express their
feelings towards BH3 during this gathering:-
BOB: I love the Hash more than anything else including
my family. It gives me happiness, friends
and I never grow old eversince I joined the Hash
some 23 years ago. I have moved up from Super
Light Weight to Heavy Weight now but I still enjoy
drinking, singing and running. It's great
to break a few bridges and I will keep on breaking
until Thaksin replaces them with concrete for every
village.
BRIAN: Things are getting worse and worse in BH3,
not like in my time. When I was young and
I was made GM we had all the goodies; subs was cheap,
ample beer supply, a lot of British, everyone obeyed
the GM, more singing, more beautiful girls during
the Hash Balls and a lot more free sexes.
All the shits today never happened in my time.
SUFFLE: I love to shout and yell at people.
I love to demonstrate my power and I love to interfere
with anything I can. The Hash gives me this
opportunity. I am also the Master of my house
and I'm not afraid of my wife. I never confess
when I take only half a tablet of VIAGRA everyday.
I like my Farang friends but I hate my Thai friends
who always reveal my secrets to the public.
I've never transferred my assets to the servants
and gardeners because I love my wife.
PRAPHAS: It brings back my memory and I always feel
like a kid running in the playground when I run
every Saturday in the jungles. It's so happy
to see big trees, rare plants, different kinds of
vegetables and fruits which others do not have a
chance like us. Great companions, friends
from different nationalities and it's fun to see
the dog-fight especially among the Thais.
That's why we should have more foreign investments,
joint ventures and take-overs to get rid of the
Thai crooks.
WOLFGANG: I hate "Protocol". I want
the Hash to be simple and straight forward.
I'd like to see those who turned away from the Hash
to come back, forget and forgive. The Committee
should be well organised and listen to the majority.
It's time for democracy or else you will face the
Coup!
RON: I'm so happy and contented. It's the
most important thing in my life becoming the last
GM and I wish I could have it again sometime in
the near future. Whenever I travel I feel
so proud to see other Hash Clubs being established
all over the world and it's becoming very prestigious
to be associated with the Hash nowadays. Nevertheless,
I hear the rumours that I've got a lot of money
by installing this current lousy mismanagement therefore
I am coming back to BH3 to defend my honour and
to prove to everyone that I am innocent.
GM CENGHIZ: I don't give a f.... to any complaints
made about me. I am now in charge, in charge
and fully in charge. Since a lot of people
ignore me, from now on the two key words will be
applied during my term; "Shut up" and
"You listen to me." I have to be
tough and strong otherwise I cannot defeat evils
and devils. I want the new BH3 to stay in
line, in tune, move forward and be a part of the
changing world. I will sack any members who
do not listen to me and I will fire any mismanagement
who cannot do a good job as told by me. Don't
be surprised to see that I can stay on and finish
my terms because I gain more and more supports from
my Asian friends. By the way, I am seriously
considering whether I should declare an "Election"
to be held during the forthcoming AGM in order to
be the first Hash in the world to adopt the democratic
system. What do you think? Shut up and
listen........
